Boulder area “success stories”

Brian Cronan’s first performance with PBP was when he was five years old and played Cricket in Pinocchio.  Now a seasoned professional performer, he appears currently in Boulder’s  Dinner Theatre’s production of Mary Poppins, following roles in Fiddler on  the Roof,  Hello, Dolly, and numerous performances at Candlelight Dinner Theatre.


 

Matthew Peters spent ten years as a star performer with PBP and Boulder High Productions.  He continues to choreograph for PBP (most recently The Music Man) and Boulder’s Dinner Theatre, where he has won several awards for choreography.  He is a featured performer at BDT and a much sought-after choreographer for the Arvada Center and numerous community theatre and professional companies.  Catch his next performance at Candlelight Dinner Theatre in West Side Story.


 

Jennifer Hanna grew up as a performer in starring PBP roles, graduated with a degree in Musical Performance and has become a popular ingénue in numerous Front Range companies from Denver to Fort Collins.  She currently takes the stage at Candlelight Dinner Theatre’s production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and will soon be seen in West Side Story there after roles in Hairspray and others.  


 

Brian Flores graduated in 2015 from the University of Michigan’s Musical Theatre program and immediately was cast as Pippin in the international touring company of that show.  His career with PBP spanned 8 years and many leading roles in Lunch Bunch, summer and workshop shows.


 

Katie Bland graduated from Webster University and headed off to New York to audition.  As a member of the off-Broadway production of Voca-People she established herself as a professional performer.  She staged her own one-woman show in NYC to rave reviews.


 

Hilary Cruz made national headlines when she was chosen Miss Teen Colorado and Miss Teen USA.  After a year of her reign, she studied acting in New York City and Los Angeles and currently lives in LA where she models, acts and pursues her career.   She credits her poise and self-confidence to her seven years as a performer with numerous PBP shows.
