All of our classes and workshops are taught by professionals in their field. 

Jo Anne Lamun (Producer/Director)
(B.S. Northwestern University, M.A. University of Colorado) is producer and director of the Peanut Butter Players. Chosen by the Boulder Daily Camera as PACESETTER in the Arts and Entertainment, 1999, amd Channel 7's Everyday Hero in August of 2000. Listed in Who's Who of American Women, author of 10 children's musicals and veteran of 30 years of teaching experience with children in the theatre, Jo Anne is the producer director of all Peanut Butter Player productions, director of the Sum-Fun theatre workshops and drama instructor in camp and after school classes.

Don Wagner  (musical director)
Musical director of Barnum, Me For President, Peter Pandemonium, The Wiz, Bratrace, Seussical  and the Lunch Bunch Anne of Green Gables,  Snoopy!!!,Into the Woods, Jr.Annie, Once Upon a Mattress, Electric Sunshine Man, Secret Garden, Cinderella, Honk!, Don is an experienced accompanist and musician who teaches private music lessons, accompanies the voice classes at UNC, and accompanies and music directs numerous local community theatre groups.   He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music from Cincinnati Bible College.  Don is Musical Director in summer workshops, and our summer performance,  teaches the musical portion of the Broadway Bound and Steppin' Out classes.

Karis Fox Shockley  (summer office manager, instructor)
Karis has been in every PBP production since the group's inception in Boulder in 1991, and has taken leading roles in most of them.  She is currently a CU student majoring in musical  theatre.  She teaches Song and Dance classes (Broadway Bound, Steppin' Out). She was a senior counselor in summer theatre workshops for the past five years and managed the office during Sum-Fun 2003 and 2004, 2005,2006, 2007 & 2008.

Carissa Soto Rodriguez 
(Choreographer)  Carissa is a Peanut Butter Players alum from the 90's who starred in many Sum-Fun and Lunch Bunch shows. She recently returned to the Peanut Butter Player family to introduce her daughter to the wonders of the stage.  Carissa has worked as a choreographer and co-choreographer for many musicals including Little Shop of Horrors, Cabaret, Hello Dolly, the Lunch Bunch production of The Jungle Book, this year's Sum-Fun production Me For President as well as PBP sum-fun camps and Broadway dance workshops. She studied under Tony Award winning choreographers; Savion Glover & Henry LeTang as well as Fred Kelly, Leonard Reed & Cholly Atkins.  Carissa has a B.A. from Metropolitan State College of Denver in Spanish and Elementary Education, and is currently teaching 5th grade. She is the choreographer for The Lunch Bunch production of High School Musical.

Laura Kruegel (instructor - after school drama classes) Laura is currently a senior at the University of Colorado pursuing a BFA in theatre, but when she was a little girl, she was a Peanut Butter Player in many Sum-Fun and workshop shows, and a distinguished member of the professional Lunch Bunch group.  She has performed with the Curious Theatre in Denver and the Colorado Shakespeare Festival this past summer in Love's Labours Lost and the Three Musketeers.  Her favorite roles are Virginia in Roulette, Queen Agravaine in Once Upon a Mattress, and the Baker's Wife in Into the Woods.  Laura will teach Onstage I and Onstage II.

Lindsay Miller (choreographer, advanced workshop Chorus Line and dance instructor for Steppin' Out and Broadway Bound)  Lindsay was one of the original members of the Lunch Bunch in Boulder, and an outstanding Peanut Butter Player in numerous shows.  She distinguished herself with the Boulder High School Pom Squad, and graduated from CU with a degree in Women and Gender Studies.  She currently works for the Women's Wilderness Institute leading programs for girls. She interned in New York City with the Broadway Dance Center, danced with a salsa and hip-hop company in Los Angeles, and currently teaches salsa at Streetside Studios, and Dance Jam at One Boulder Fitness.
