Welcome to the Peanut Butter Players, celebrating 32 years (1985-2017) of Theatre for Kids by Kids.
The Peanut Butter Players are Boulder County’s premiere children’s theatre, providing training in singing, dancing and acting for the young, summer day camps, summer theatre and luncheon theatre for the family.
OPENING SEPTEMBER 23….
Presented in luncheon theatre for the family by the talented professional kids, the Lunch Bunch, this romp through many of Dr. Seuss’ popular tales will delight and amuse. There’s Horton, of course, hearing a Who and Hatching an Egg, and Maizie and Gertrude, Yertle and The Whos…all live, in color and singing and dancing their way into your hearts in this Broadway musical.
Opening September 23 and continuing on Saturdays through October 28, 2017. Showtime is 11 a.m. with lunch to follow (hot dogs, pbj’s or salad). Admission is $15/person with group rates available. A great way to celebrate a birthday with special greetings for the honoree from the stage.
Reservations are requested: 303-786-8727.
FALL CLASSES BEGIN SEPTEMBER 25 AND CONTINUE FOR EIGHT WEEKS…SIGN UP NOW ON THE “CLASSES” PAGE.
AND COMING FOR THE HOLIDAYS… THE COLORADO PREMIERE OF A NEW MUSICAL: THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER, THE MUSICAL
You loved the book, maybe saw the play, but this new version may be the best yet. The crazy Herdmans are still terrorizing the town, the church ladies are trying their best to put on the annual Christmas pageant, and all the kids are hoping everything will turn out all right…and, of course, it does, but only after a lot of hilarity and fun.
Be IN IT by auditioning on October 29 from 1-4:30. Just sing a little, read a little and everyone gets a part! Rehearsals primarily on weekends, and the show will be performed Dec. 16,17, 21 and 22. Adults and kids (aged 5-85) perform together in this holiday event. Special audition time can be arranged if you can’t make it on Oct. 29. Call 303-786-8727 for more information.
